Hi, I took COSC427 back in 2004 (I think). I'm going to lurk and see what tricks I can pinch off everybody here.
I'm working for [SMX|http://www/smx.co.nz] as a Java developer using frameworks like REST and OSGI for server-side stuff and ExtJS for client-side AJAX GUIs.
There's lots of work available for Java developers at the moment, and the likes of COSC427 are what employers like to see on your CV so go hard on this course, and put your projects on the Web for them to check out.
