I don't think that it makes much sense to define the 10 outside of a function that calculates the x^10 and is called power10. Maybe just a bad example? Maybe defining the constant for 10 inside the function? I might be completely wrong because this is a refactoring method and they seem to be a little bit "over the top" sometimes!? --TobiW
